I want to thank everyone who came out for the Apple Pie Bake-off last Saturday. It was a big success, and hopefully you got to try some of the submissions! This Saturday at Greenpoint/McCarren Park we will have a special guest from the neighborhood who will be doing a cooking demo. Beth Bainbridge, local Greenpoint resident rental car companies, is a Registered Dietician and Nutritionist with the NYCDOH Stellar Markets Program. She is an expert at all things delicious and nutritious and will be cooking up one of her favorite seasonal recipes at the info tent between 10 and 11am. Her recipe, and many other great recipes to try out for Thanksgiving will be hanging at the info tent so come by for some ideas! Locally source your Thanksgiving this year !!
